Radio Shows and Recipes

A relaxing, contemplative experience in my apartment involves a good radio show on WNYC turned up so I can hear it from my kitchen.  I get set up with special ingredients for a trusted recipe from one of my favorite cookbooks or an experimental recipe from memories of my favorite meals and the lasting impact they've had on my taste buds.

With you, I plan to share those combined experiences.

Local radio, quality personalities.  Local foods, quality dishes.  I'll tell you the thoughts and questions that come to mind.  I'll leave you with a full impression of the flavors that you may want to try.  You can respond to my ideas and questions and tell me if the dishes and culinary experiments inspire you.

    I can't wait to hear of your kitchen experiments and experiences. Wish we could be listening to WNYC at the same time reading your words. It would add to the
    feeling of being right there in your kitchen. A fun sense for those of us such a distance away. Don't forget to tell of what you've been canning and "Mary, Mary quite contrary how does your garden grow" !

    Love the typical "NY, Brooklyn, Bronx, kitchen. As a former NYer have been in many. I'm sure lots of tasty things will come out of there. Bees have invaded my life this summer, books, stories, and a new love for recipes with honey. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. Not "crazy" just a friend of Judi from the Villages wishing you well. Jilly
